I'm getting that error in an application I'm writing...

What does SIGSEGV indicate?

Ah, the beloved segmentation fault. Typically its trying to access a bad pointer.

Learn to use the project builder's debugger. Or get down and dirty with gdb, which project builder is a front end for.
