hi everybody,

last week, i ordered a new cell phone: a motorola v66i, but they sent me a v66 instead. the basic difference between those two is that the v66i has j2me while the one i got now doesn't.

so, i'm now wondering whether the whole j2me thing was worth it. does anybody have any experience with this?
my motivation was not to download stuff made by others but to start writing my own j2me midlets, from the sample code i've seen, that shouldn't be a problem.

the other question, of course, is: anybody ever done that on a mac under os x? the ides and emulators i saw only work under windows...

any advice what to do?

I use it all the time on my cell phone.
Stuff I wrote and stuff others have written as well....
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.
