OK, so I'm getting my feet wet with Cocoa and Objective-C. I finish going through recipe one, fix all the typos I'd made on the way, and I'm left with one compiler warning: The project depends on itself. I'd prefer to have no warnings during compilation; or, failing that possibility, I'd like to know exactly what is generating the warning.

I'm sure I'm missing something perfectly obvious, but I can't find it. Any takers?

That appears in the text that goes by in the lower pane which fills with lots of text when you compile, right? I get that on every build. Even with Apple's Currency Converter tutorial or any of their others. I don't think that it means anything. Everything always works fine for me.

Me too. I couldn't find anything that would explain this on the web.

I just visited http://developer.apple.com/macosx/gettingstarted/ to try the tutorials myself, but for all of the links I am getting a "Not Found" message. Am I at the right page? Or are all the links really broken for some reason?

It's probably a PB/1.0 issue,Vermont Recipies was written for the Public Beta. Also,it depends on which version of VR you have,I coudn't get the original (the one that was a standalone PDF,as opposed to the most recent, which is in a PDF along with recipies 2 and 3) to build at all.If you join the Cocoa developers mailing list macosx-dev@omnigroup.com on Omni's website you'll be able to get in touch with Bill Cheeseman, who is an active member.

It appears to happen in all apps, not just VR.
