Well maybe I'm an over anxious Unix/OS X newbie but I've been scouring the 'net for various drivers to enable my HP Laserjet 5L, Handspring Visor, XLR8 video to USB cable, and Umax 1220U scanner to work with OS X. I've found a prog to enable the scanner to work via CLI @ http://www.hettich.demon.co.uk/umax/umax1220u.tar.gz with Linux (it's only a stretch, right). I've also found a prog to sync the Visor @ http://www.ooblick.com/software/cold...-1.4.6.tar.gz. I haven't yet done anything with them. But it is a start. Time to install the developers CD and get into it.

Lets see what we can make "The world's most advanced operating system" do!
