Are there any good, free Carbon tutorials available online?

Vermont Recipies is Cocoa, not Carbon. Apple used to have the MoonTravel.pdf file on their web site that took you through building a simple Carbon App from start to finish, but it seems to have inexplicably disappeared. A Google search still shows it, but it isn't on any of the servers. If anyone has it, I wouldn't mid getting a copy of it somehow. I've been doing mostly Cocoa stuff, but wouldn't mind messing around with Carbon too.

There's a tutorial over at http://www.mactech.com but it seems to be a bit evil to me

If you are doing Carbon I would hope you are using CodeWarrior since you can't make OS9 Carbon apps with project builder.

If you are using CodeWarrior you have PowerPlant. PowerPlant is a great carbon framework that is really great to use. Not as slick as Cocoa, but it is nice.

The "PowerPlant Book" PDF is a great tutorial on PowerPlant.

There's the "Learning Carbon" book from O'Reilly but I skimmed through it the other day and I wasn't very impressed. You should be able to find it at any major bookstore in the Mac section (found it at Borders).

Edit: So I just reread the post and it says "free tutorials." So let me just expand on that -- bring notepad to Borders, pick up book, get info you need, place book back on shelf. Calmy, discreetly exit the premises.
