Does anybody know about a good forum for Mac OS X developers? (hm, besides this one, I mean).

I assume there are forums that have much higher traffic than this one? Mailing lists are good, too.

Sure- try out

http://www.omnigroup.com/developer/mailinglists/

That's fairly advanced, and there is a good amount of traffic there.

Also try http://cocoa.mamasam.com. It's an archive of Apple's Cocoadev mailing list and OmniGroup's MacOSX-dev list. It's a little more user-friendly (IMHO) than browsing/searching the Omni one directly.

I've been trying to find the time to do cocoa dev for a long time now. I enjoy reading the mailing lists, but Omni's mail archive isn't setup for quick browsing and I'm not home enough to read the individual mailing list emails that are sent directly (My OmniMacOSXDev mailbox has far over 3000 unread). I wish I had more time. The organization of the archive that you presented is great and will help. It would be nice if it was organized even more like a forum, where the content of the replies were also shown on the same page, but that's not a big deal.

Again, thanks for the link. It really helps.

Also visit http://www.cocoadev.com, which is a community-based Cocoa website. You can often find some useful pieces of code there, and adding your own comments to a page is as easy as clicking "Edit".
