Well, I updated to OS X.1 (10.1 whatever....) and wow is it not a lot better or isn't it? Sooooo fast, but that might just be the 512 mb mem upgrage....

Anyways, after all was said and done, I tried to startup project builder. Guess what?

I give up, what happened?

Well it did not work

So do I have to download Dev for 10.1 (took about 12 hours to download the last one--dial up)?

Yup, you need the 10.1 dev tools. The libraries are incompatible. Get yourself to a high speed internet connection.

If you purchased the update (which I can only assume you did considering the free CD giveaway offer ended about a month ago), you will find the 10.1 DevTools in your package.

I got the free update CD's I was just really lazy about installing them... Kinda annoys me though, that apple did not include the dev tools with their towers. I mean are not a lot of the people who buy their top of the line computers, programmers, 3d artists and the sort of people who could really benefit from this.

Well, at least they are kind enough to include the dev tools on their adc site.

Well looks like my phone line will be tied up tonight. So don't call me, not that anyone does

Ps: I am working on getting dsl or something like it
