Has anyone tried to compile OSXAmp for XPB?

I think that if it was something easy to do the guy who wrote it originally for Mac OS X Server would have already ported it over.

I'm happy just having the look of it with the OS X Amp skin!

FWIW, I gave it a try. It's certainly not trivial. It relies on some interfaces that just aren't there yet for sound, and on objC++ for certain other functions. Someone more determined than I could probably fix it up, but I had no luck with any quick fixes :-P

Thanks for giving it a try. I thought it was that hard. There is just a lack of a good sound player (like SoundApp) for OS X, so I wanted to see if I could compile myself a good one.
