This message is for all the OSX developers out there.
? - Now that Gerry (Maker of Gerry's ICQ) has released his source code to Gerry's ICQ, I am wondering if there are any programmers out there that plan to take advantage of this new code.
I LOVE Gerry's ICQ, but Gerry doesn't update it enough, and it currently has problems in OSX.
My suggestion? - A programmer should use Gerry's freely available source code (available here:
http://homepage.mac.com/GerrysICQ/GerrysICQSource.sit), fix it, add some new OSX-only features (like a dockling that alerts you to new messages and that you can change your status from), then charge users $10.00 - thus turning your efforts into a bit of a $$$ return. I know myself and many other Gerry's ICQ lovers would surely be greatful.
