I hate the new Finder in OS X final. It's crap. The Desktop environment in OS X Public Beta kicked ass! I know Apple changed it because of popular demand but the Customer is NOT always right. They should have left the Desktop the way it was. I loved how simple and fast it was. I could do 4X the amount of work in the Public Beta's Desktop then in the 4K78's Finder. I will do anything to get the PB's Desktop back. I even tried hacking OS X and replacing The current Finder with PB's Desktop. It would be great if you could somehow help me with my request. With all the other peobelms with OS X the only thing that matters to me is the Desktop.

I don't care if I viod my warrenty by having to install a hack or if you actually go the long distance and restore the PS's Desktop in the next release of OS X. I just really really really want to be using PB's Desktop environment. I would even go back to using the Public Beta as my OS if that is my only choice. That way at least I'd be happy until May 15th (beta kill date). Please, anyone? I don't believe it would take too much time or be too difficult of a project for someone to adapt the Public Beta's Desktop for use in OS X.
