Does anyone out there know of availability (current or planned) of GTK for OS X?

There's a version on sourceforge, which I got running. It works, but it isn't really ready for general use yet (and probably won't be for ages).
I would just stick to XDarwin etc.

Are you refering to the X windows version or the native Aqua version of Qt? The one on sourceforge is for X windows. Trolltech announced an Aqua version that they said is scheduled for release in October.
The X windows version is free, while the Aqua version will cost you.

davechen is talking about Qt, not GTK. Qt is a cross-platform toolkit and so is GTK. They are different however. I too am interested in the GTK being ported to Mac OS X (and I don't consider an X-windows version a port). A true port of the GTK would open the way for a bunch of software (like the GIMP).

Doh. Hopefully we will get one soon, I'm trying to convince a Linux friend of mine to port his stuff over and he says he'll do it once we have GTK. So I guess we'll see.

I am investigating the feasibility of a Mac OS X port using Cocoa.
