Sorry to bother you guys with such a simple and stupid question. How do I add .h files so project builder will see it when I compile my app?

i'm pretty sure you can just put the .h files in /usr/include/
that way the underlying c compiler will find it

That may work but the best way is Project>Add Files... then you will get a sheet where you can navigate to and select the file in question, choose Open, then you will get a second sheet, make sure the "Copy Items into destination groups folder (if needed)" checkbox is selected, then hit the Add button. There will be a local copy of the file in your project so the complier will alaways find it.

Thanks for the help everyone, I got the file in, (actually before I posted) but it didn't work. And cause my class shows the M$ way of doing it, majorly ass backwards, since it wasn't working I figured I was just doing it wrong. Well, in the end I had just made a simple typo. Doh'!

So, it's all cool, thanks for the help!

Juan
