Has anyone had any luck building and installing the latest version of the OmniFrameworks (4-26-2002 version). I'm getting multiple errors when building the OmniBase framework.

Also, I would appreciate any advice on how to install/use the frameworks once they are built.
Thanks

I'm talking from memory here, but I think you have to put all the build products in the same directory. In PB's Build preferences, choose the radio button that's labelled 'put build products in a specific location' and choose a directory. I think that's how it should work. I'll try and post back to clarify when I get to work.

Yeah. In Build Preferences, choose "Separate Location for build products" and "Put intermediate build files with build products" and it should all build OK.

Actually, I did choose the "Separate Location for build products" and "Put intermediate build files with build products" under "Preferences" -"Build" menu, and used the following paths -- "/Users/troth/Build" and "/Users/troth/Build/Intermediates".

I basically followed the tutorial on the cocoadevcentral site. Apparently, you must build the the OmniBase framework first before you can build the OmniFoundation and OmniAppkit frameworks, and they must be built in the same directory. But I can't even get the OmniBase framework to build without errors. This is really frustrating, because it is not that complicated. Could it have anything to do with the new Developer tools (april version posted on ADC)? Has anywone else succesfully built the latest OmniFrameworks with the newest version of the Developer Tools?

Problem Solved!

The latest OmniFrameworks are not compatible with the April Developer Tools (still Beta). I uninstalled the April tools and reinstalled the December Tools and everything compiled without a hitch.

Actually I got it to build alright with ther beta tools. I had to comment out one portion of the define clauses which seemed to be giving it fits, but otherwise it works fine.
