I installed the dev seed to try it out....but want to go back to Quicktime 5 Pro.....obviously in my excitment I forgot that for OSX Quicktime 5 is included...so how can I isolate the install to only install quicktime 5?

Search the OS X forums for a thread on this subject by Liquidity. There is plenty of info there.

Basically, you need Pacifist, your original Mac OS X Install CD, and the various 10.1.x updaters. You extract the original QT5 components and then re-run the various updaters.
