Just wanted to let everyone know that a new book on Cocoa was just released: Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X by Aaron Hillegass, published by Addison-Wesley. Just got it in the mail... haven't had a chance to read in depth tonight but it looks better than the O'Reilley book (in that it is not rehashed online documentation).

I don't know about everyone else, but when learning new concepts it is very helpful for me to see something from two perspectives, so I hope this book will really help solidify some of the new concepts Cocoa brings to programming.

More info at the books website: http://www.bignerdranch.com/Book/ .

Enjoy,
Ross

let us know what you think.
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive.

Yes, as Juan says, let us know what you think - especially in context of someone who doesn't know how to program at all (or is this one of those books which assume you know C/C++ already?)

There's a review of this book on Slashdot.org and they seem to like it better than the O'Reilly book. The review and discussion is at http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=0...mp;mode=thread
