A few years ago (1992-1996) Dan Walkowski created Okey Dokey Pro 2.0.2 (freeware).

Okey Dokey Pro is a control panel. It 'presses' the default button in modal dialogs after a time limit. You could set the time limit in the Okey Dokey Pro (Control Panel) eg 10 seconds. It showed the countdown in the bottom corner of the dialog box. It was great for automating tasks (AppleScript, Finder, DeBabelizer etc).

I wonder if anyone has written (or thought of writing) such a utility for MacOS X. Such a utility would be great.

Any budding developers out there what to give it a go? I hope so.

Cheers,

Problem is you'd need to write it twice: once for Cocoa and once for Carbon.
