How can one program iTunes visualizers? Is there sample source out there? A tutorial? I imagine it is something like programming Soundjam visualizers, for which there is an SDK..?
The 4 o'clock train will be a bus.

http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2016.html discusses what you need and includes links to the SDK which includes sample code.
