Hi
Just wondering how many people use "Resin" as opposed to 'Jakarta tomcat' for their JSP development needs? Any pros/cons I need to know about?

I installed jakarta but didn't really like the way it kep track of the log files. It rolled over every midnite. So I basically had one log file for each day. I installed resin and it seems to work pretty nice.

Thanks

Cool I did not know you could get RESIN for OSX, I also thought it would cost $$$ as my ISP uses it. I am downloading now. Thanks.

Did you have any problems installing Resin on OSX. I also got the install manual from the RESIN web-site.

I use Resin for development on my OSX machine. Its fantastic.

Their licensing is not 100% free. You would need to pay for it if you use it in a production environment, but if you only use it for development, it is entirely free.

You can pretty much follow the unix setup instructions, and get resin running. I didn't run into any OSX specific problems when setting up Resin.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions or problems.
