I'm looking for some OSX tools for MySQL. Are there any front ends or editors for it?
Does BBEdit handle it? I'm considering buying a copy, since it looks like a promising editor. Advice?
T'ank you.

I use jEdit for scripting/coding. It works great and is free, look for it on versiontracker.
As for MySQL, I use PHP + phpMyAdmin. You can get it at: http://www.phpwizard.net/projects/ph....1.0php.tar.gz
BTW, I am trying to use berkeley tables with mysql, any hints on that? Mysql complains that the OS (MacOS X) doesn't support fast mutexes and I have to disable BDB.

There is a free version of BBEdit, which you may use to see whether your needs are met.
As far as BDB with MySQL, there is another recent thread around here which discusses alternate ways of compiling to get BDB compatability.

There's an excellent (commercial) tool that I use. It does require that you know SQL, but they're releasing an update that adds visual capability RSN. Runs under MacOS 9 and X.
It's at http://www.rtlabs.com/macsql/
