The default font for the source files are set to 10 point Geneva, which on my TiBook display looks incredibly small and fuzzy. Normally I like to use either 10 point Monoco or 12 point Courier.
Here is the problem. I change the font, but it won't stay. As soon as I save the file, it reverts right back to 10 point Geneva. I even tried to go into the Script Editor and change the font settings there since PB seems to take the syntax coloring prefs from there. No go. This is killing my eye sight!
Am I missing something here, or is this just a bug in Project Builder?

In order to change the font for the script editor in Project Builder, you need to make sure you're not in Project Builder, then launch Script Editor, choose AppleScript Formatting... and set the font setting to your liking. I'm using a Helvetica 12, but you'll have to experiment, as the fonts will appear differently in Project Builder than they do in Script Editor (due to the differences between Cocoa and Carbon font rendering). Then quit Script Editor and then open your project or example in Project Builder. You should see your font choices in effect when editing any .applescript file. If you want to change the font settings for other files in Project Builder, choose the Preferences and choose 'Syntax Coloring'. If having done all of that and your still not getting the desired result then you'll need to file a bug report.

Thanks, Tim. That seemed to work. I don't think I had quit out of PB while changing the font when I tried it before. Funny thing still is that I had to reset the AppleScript formatting in the Script Editor before it would work. Also, it still will not let me use Monoco has the font. I ended up going with Andale Mono. But maybe I will try Profont and see how that works.
Thanks again!!

The AppleScript Formatting options are global (per user of course), thus setting them in Script Editor changes them for other applications. In a future release of Project Builder, you will be able to set the AppleScript Formatting options in Project Builder itself, which will no longer require you setting them in Script Editor.
You can use Monaco, but I don't believe that it has any bold or italic variants.
