Hey gang,

Sorry for the apparent naievetee of this question-but trust me, there is rhyme to my reason! Here goes:

How much work/difficulty has the development community in general, had in the carbonizing of current applications?

I ask this out of business curiosity as far as carbonizing of apps for OS X. For example: applications such as Eudora, or basic JPEG viewers, or games-such as Simcity 3000, Starcraft, Warcraft, etc. What time and effort and technical expertise would be required to successfully carbonize these applications?

Again, sorry about my complete lack of knowledge on the topic--but I hope that we may be able to develop some form of "Carbonizing Contest". =)

Cheers, all.
Travis

Carbonizing Apps is relatively easy as long as you're using the most up to date apple APIs. It should take a weekend at most. Developers that use a lot of messy tricks from OS7 might have a bit more work, so it could take a week or so.

Of course, then you have to test and fix small bugs, but getting the app up and running in OSX has been pretty quick in my experience
