i've many questions on devloping for mac os x.... it would be nice if i get a few answers :-)

Is it possible to compile console only applicaitions ( which means that they run in the terminal ) which use the socket library ( the unix berkley socket library ), streams and pipes and all the unix possibilities.... ?

If I code in cocoa i have to write in objective-c or in java. Thats right or ?

Can i compile my old powerplant projects with cw pro 6 and they're real carbon apps ?

Yes

Correct. Note that Obj-C is a small superset of C, so an Obj-C Cocoa program is mostly C, and you can use your existing C and C++ libraries in an Obj-C Cocoa program.
