I want to mount a unix nfs to a location in OSX. On OSX fstab is devided into 3 files fstab.hd, fstab.rd and fstab.sd. Do I put the mount point in one or all three files? Or do I make a new, plain fstab file with the mount info?
Thanks,

I can't answer your question, but I have a similar question: does anyone know how to mount a drive elsewhere in the filesystem than at / ?
If I try unmounting one of my drives in order to mount it elsewhere, I get 'drive is in use' errors. 'fuser' command is not available to find out who/what is using the drive - I have a suspicion it's the Desktop App.
I'd really like to make the /Users directory a mountpoint for another drive. Apple should provide a GUI for this. I suppose a symlink or alias would work though ?
