Does anyone know when Apple might update and flesh out their Cocoa documentation. Is it that they are busy dealing with Carbon since that is the first route developers will take to OS X? Oh well...

It's happening. I've been going through their documentation a lot, and I've noticed things labeled "discussion forthcoming" get filled in. Is there something specific you're looking for?
I just wish they'd put out more sample code...

What I would like to see is standard JavaDoc formatting for Java documentation. I just can't get used to reading the path of inheritance from right to left, and I miss having the links to direct known subclasses / known implementors.

I must agree - the Cocoa documentation needs to be completed where all the "description forthcoming" messages are. It's just not good enough for developers to learn some of the classes properly. More sample code included in the documentation would be great too.

I'm personally looking forward to them fleshing out their audio documentation. I'm currently trying to write a Cocoa app that uses the Modem as a sound input device and captures and writes that sound to disk. Simple app used for recording phone interviews and the like.
