I'm almost finished with an AppleScript Studio application, but i need to call a few cocoa methods (I know next to nothing about obj-c and there are few examples linking Studio and cocoa) to make up for a few short-comings in AppleScript as it stands.

1. Setting the system sound volume
2. Getting the user's default browser
3. Getting time/date preferences (specifically 12/24 hour time)

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks
