I plan to install the latest Apache (1.3.17) using the Darwin layout found in config.layout (from Apache). It'll install in different directory paths than the 1.3.12 in the Beta, and it'll install as "httpd" instead of "apache". Yes, I know I can use a different "Target", and change all the directories around, but I don't want to do that. I want to do a "plain vanilla" build, and completely remove the older version.

My question: will the "Services" tab in the Network control panel work with this different directory structure for turning the webserver on and off? If not, anybody know how to make it work?

Thanks

-KenS
