Where are they? Where are the API's for OS X? They have to be there to be used with Project Builder but I just can't find them.

There are 2 main APIs on OS X - Cocoa and Carbon (there is also Java/Swing but I would try to ignore it). You should decide which one you want to go with and start trying to figure it out

There have been several threads on getting started with coding on OS X in the past, I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to find them (I'm not in the mood for retyping messages for the trillionth time).

Angus, note that I asked "where" not "what", I am very well aware that Cocoa and Carbon are the API's for OS X, also Java I believe, but I want to know where the files are on my computer so I can look at them.

// inside "CFDate.h"
#include <CoreServices/CoreServices.h>

Do I have to be root to get access to these files?

Airsluf, I can't agree more
