Do you have 5 minutes now and then to help out a aspiring programmer? Do you know your way round ansi-C, and maybe layter Java? Then I could really use your help.

I am trying to learn ansi-c from "The C Programming Lnaguage". I have a bit of PHP and MySQL experince and am looking to move into doing Java. I however feel the need to get used to doing C first. I am looking for some one I can e-mail with some quastions about C and eventually Java?

So if you can help me email organjo@mac.com.

I think it's easier to learn Java before C. Anyhow, just post your questions here. That way you'll get answers from potentially more sources than just one or two

I first tried to do Java. However as someone who came from soft typed langauge like PHP, I found that Java just assumed to much for me. I thus decided to opt for C first, to get me thinking inside the terms of hard type languages. Also "The C Programming Language" is a great books just in teaching programming.

I have had an offer already, this is one of the create benefits of the mac community.
