Hi All.

I was playing around with MacosX from apple. Apple has Java2 (1.3SE) installed, but no signs of 1.3EE. Do you think it would be possiable to install the jar and class files from 1.3EE onto MacosX and have it work with Apple's jvm and compliers? Or is this something that I will have to wait for Apple to come out with, or write my own version. Thanks for the input.

The J2EE reference implementation will not work because there is some platform specific binary code and no open source. You do, however, have alternatives

I use a combination of JBoss and Jetty for most of my J2EE. JBoss and Jetty are open source 100% Java projects. I also hear that Enhydra is pretty good as well and offers (again, from what I hear) a complete J2EE solution.
