I would have thought it would be possible to compile J2ME midlets in ProjectBuilder as it is quite happy with java - would it not just be a case of including different classes and libraries ?
I would have thought they would be machine independent as that's the whole point, so it makes sense that would work ?

I've heard Sun Forte can work in OSX but so far I haven't been able to do it as I don't know anything about unix, but I guess it could be fairly slow because it's written in Java. Can anybody help me with this ?

I had planned on running my midlets on the Palm emulator - has anyone else managed this ? I've been waiting for over a week for my registration for the Palm Dev Profile so I can get a bin file to run on it.

Hi!

Is it not possible to use the J2ME on OS X ? I would love to make small apps to my new cellphone.

I've downloaded the CLDC 1.0.4, and SUN states that is runs on Linux. But I guess thats on a x86.

So I can't compile J2ME clients ?
