OK. Here's the link to the site. I got a couple of favorable reports back saying that both the Apache-PHP4 package and the MySQL package work very well.

Make sure to read the directions...

just want you to know that installing the package and creating the grand tables went fine. Was an easy task. I couldnīt compile my own since my system was missing /usr/lib/libpthread.A.dylib. Have you any idea how to get this?

Thanx Tom

Just wondering how this will affect previous installs of the package. For example, will it overwrite the ~/WebServer/Documents/~ folder and all of it's content's?

And is there any luck on a DSO version of PHP. I've not been successful myself in installing it as such.

No, the package system is smart enough to not over-write files unless they're specified to be over-written when the package is built. Also, the build process for Apache preserves any files contained in these important folders as well.

As for the DSO version of PHP4, it is not building. You can easily extract the libphp4.so from the PHP package that comes with Tenon's iTools and install that but if that option makes you queasy, go ahead and use the packaged version of Apache or my installation/compilation instructions.
