I am interested in doing some os x development. I recently purchased a TiBook. Unfortunatley, I do not seem to have the development tools cd that is supposed to come with os x. Is there some place where i can downoload the required tools (ProjectBuilder, Interface Builder etc..)?
Thanks

Chris

No. Nobody seems to know when Apple will release the dev tools for download, but I think Apple is expected to release them eventually -- could be months from now for all I know.

It will depart at 20 minutes to 5.

Is it legal to redistribute copies of the CD that came with OS X? If so, I'll send you a copy, moonman.

As noted on another thread, the dev tools were posted to the ADC site today. I'm not sure if they're available with the free ADC subscription, but I'd think so (they used to be).

It looks like they might only be *UPDATES* though... I'm not sure, though. If someone with a new machine and no previous devtools could download and check?

The site states they are the same thing that the WWDC attendees got on CD. The full package (with a demo of WO5) is over 180MB, and the full package (less WO5) is 136MB (there are individual "smaller" pieces if you don't want to download the whole thing at once). It sure *sounds* like it's the whole shebang...

The thing that worried me was that the documentation package was listed as about 67k, which can't be right. *shrug*

what's new in the SDKs, anyways?
