After installing the DevTools and WO 10.0.1 update I can no longer install apps to the Applications folder. The folder is read-only to members of group "wheel" and all others.

Anyone help me out?
sincerely,
steve

Here's a snapshot of my Applications directory.

<font face = "courier">drwxrwxr-x 30 root admin 976 Jun 8 22:04 /Applications</font>

I have not installed the WO evaluation, so I assume this is the Mac OS X factory default. To change the permissions of your Applications directory I would execute the following commands in Terminal.

<font face = "courier">
sudo chgrp admin /Applications
sudo chmod 0775 /Applications
</font>

Thanks, that did it. But what should the privileges of the other folders be (Developer, Library, Users, System)?
sincerely,
steve
