I am a beginner programmer working on a Cocoa Java App. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could read about creating a help file (which would be accessed through the Help menu). My understanding is that I write one in HTML but I don't know how to have the Help menu access it, nor where I put the HTML file. Can anyone help me out, or does anyone know of any documentation about this subject.

Thank you.

In the target settings in Project Builder there is a thing labeled help file. I think it's in application setting but I am not at my computer now and am not wuite sure. Put in the name of your help file there and remember to make the help file a resource in your project. Then the menu will work.

To make a resource file do I just put the file in the Resources folder along with the infoplist file in Project Builder?

OK, I got it to work but it opens the help.html file in a web browser. Is there any way to have Apples help (app?) open it when you select it from the Help menu?

Thanks for your help.
