I don't think that anyone has but there's a sprite engine in the sample files for carbon on apple's develpoer site. Perhaps you could adapt that. Good luck!

I'm not very good with carbon. But I'll check it out. I went to the site and I can't find the example you speak of.

You could try Quartzeroids. Not too complex, but it should give an example of how to move sprites around on the screen.
