Hello,
With the awaited arrival of Mac OS X I have now began to lay tracks for
an updated version of Tim North's StripMac.
A long time ago this version worked, but the last update to this small card game
was with the arrival of the Power PC processors (1996).

I have found that certain routines cause the program to crash. However Tim told me
already in 1997 he will not update it anymore. I have had contact with him
recently and he is okay to use his application as a basis for a new version
if only it is distributed freely. That was my intention anyway.

If you would like to help then you're welcome. A lot needs to be done as I have
some ideas for improvements of the old version as well as a range of new features.

However I am just starting with cocoa and I am not too sure whther I can bring this
to the successful end the way I want.

Therefore I am summoning the help of people who would enjoy helping in writing
this new version which I think would be called: StripMac Deluxe.

So if you feel like helping please press the reply button and email me (evdmeer@mac.com).
All help is welcome.

Regards
Merijn

I've never seen it, but it sounds like a fun project.

I'm gonna be busy for the next three months, and then suddenly not (ie, exams over). I know Objective-C but not Cocoa yet. If you're prepared to wait and work with another learner, i'm in.

All words are lies. Including these ones.
