Anybody have any ideas on writing a program that will remove the icon of an open application from the dock. Say like with classic you only see the icon present when you launch it. I was thinking it would be fairly usefull, since the dock is apparently not powerufll enough to control applications, as Apple just made a dockling instead of putting the functionality in the Application icon. That is stupid. I need two icons to control one program from the dock?

If anyone has suggestions as to what avenue to go down in writing a program to do this let me know. I don't even know what settings I would need to change.

Boo for Apple on that one. :-( Bet they add functionality to the dock to allow a program to be controlled through it's icon, and not just docklings.
