Hi!

I should get a first impression of Apple's WebObjects - i looked on the ADC site, but there's only a full developer download with 120+ MB... Anyone knows a solution?

For now, it would be best not to worry about it. WebObjects 5.0 doesn't work with 10.1 anyway, and the one that worked with 10.0.x has already expired.

An update which should be compatible with 10.1 is supposedly coming soon. When it does, I'd imagine that an updates demo will come too. However, be forewarned, WebObjects is still some 60 megs even without the full developer demo.

Apple released a WebObjects 5 patch to make it work on 10.1 a couple weeks back (October 22 it looks like). If you've installed the regular version of WebObjects, the patch should be available via Software Update.

The demo of WO expired on September 1st, 2001. I'm not sure if they'll ever run it again, they never have before. Perhaps someone should contact DTS and ask?
