why doesn't some cocoa novice put a gui on creating a vm swap file? it should be part of the drive setup app, imho.

What? You don't need to create vm swapfiles, they are automagically managed for you. What do you mean?

There is no such thing as a vm partition on Mac OS X. You can set the location that swapfiles are located, but for the few people that need to do this, I don't see much problem for them editing /etc/rc
