I just got my 4.5.1 release and immediately installed it on 4.5.1. I have no problem pulling up current PB.Project files in my WO Applications. So then I wanted to start a new WO App. I'm a little upset that we have to use ProjectBuilderWO instead of ProjectBuilder, but that's not the big problem.

I choose "Project...New..." and select a "WebObjects Application" for Project Type. And it only allows me to do a WebScript or Objective-C Application!!!!!! Does anyone know what the hell is going on?! (Please note, I'm not dumping on Obj-C, just ProjectBuilderWO). Did I install something wrong? It was basically on a clean install OSX on HFS+ (pbg4), added developer tools, immediately followed by 4.5.1 install.

Maybe I'm missing something. I see absolutely no WO stuff in the new ProjectBuilder, and I think that is going to only be incorporated into WO5. I also see no incorporation of D2W in ProjectBuilderWO.

You do know that WO 4.5.1 on MacOS X has no support for Java.
As D2W is a Java framework, there's no support for that either.

WO4.5.1 on Windows would have support for Java, though.

Hope that helps,
ravi

What are you talking about? Where is that documented? It certainly is not in the release notes. As a matter of fact, the "Installation Guide WebObjects 4.5.1 Developer" that comes with the CDs states on Page 4 "Project Builder for managing and organizing...in a variety of languages including 100% pure Java."
