Hi folks,

I'm a IB/Cocoa/Obj-C newbie, and I'm working on a simple little application just for fun. However, I've run into a snag which is driving me crazy, and that is I can't get a top-level submenu to display its title! All it says is "Submenu", no matter what title I give it. I've even printed out the title of the menu programatically, and it's correct -- so only the display of the menu is what doesn't seem to be working. How in the heck do I get a top-level submenu to display a title other than "Submenu"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think the title of the menu matters at all -- the title of the menu item in the parent menu is the one that counts.

Just double-click on the item in the menu in IB, and rename it to what you want.

Gee, I feel like an idiot now. I did what you said, and...it worked! Thanks so much -- I can't believe I didn't think of that on my own.
