My geek side needs to explore open source so it downloaded some CVS material from the web and tried to reproduce some basic tutorial examples. Well, I didn't get very far, my environment is not setup correctly, and I know it. Problem is, I don't know what should be setup... So far, I setup my CVSROOT and CVSEDITOR variables --perhaps incorrectly. What else do I need to do? Can anyone just spell their environment setup for me, if it's not too much trouble. Thanks.
