After my application sets the neccessary resources, etc for a file's icon, is there a certain way I can force to the finder to reload the icon? After I set the icon, I usually have to either move it to a different folder, rename it, or restart the finder before the changes become apparent in the finder.

Thanks in advance

Just be looking at it, I'm assuming that is AppleScript...I was actually looking for an Objective-C way of doing it, but I suppose this would work just fine.

So how do I send this message through Cocoa? I've never put Applescript commands into an app before.

Use osascript as an NSTask.
