I'm trying to access a web page on a weekly schedule. I'm thinking a crontab file that launches Lynx would work. What do you think? Yes, no?

If it would work, does anyone know how to set Lynx up on Mac OSX? I'm not sure how to fix this:

"checking host system type... configure: error: can not guess host type; you must specify one"

its not recognizing OSX, so you need to copy /usr/libexec/config.guess over the one that came with the lynx package

depending on what you're trying to do, though, wouldn't wget work better?

I have lynx up and running without a problem. I think I've used

powerpc-apple-rhapsody

when I ran configure. Try it out.
