Ok, I'm a newbie at this stuff, but I was wondering if there is anyway to modify the Quake2 port Omni did for OS X Server, so that it will work on OS X (Client), I would think it would be someone simple, but if Omni wouldn't do it, it must not be, well regardless any info would be nice. BTW, I know Quake3 is availble, but I would like to see Q2 in action on OS X.

I think you'd be better off porting it again. OS X Server 1.2 (Rhapsody) had a different architecture for this type of thing and no OpenGL. I think Omni ported some 3D framework to NeXT and then ported Quake2 on top of that. I don't know, though...

I'm not sure if iD has released the source to Quake II, but if they have then you might like to look at porting the PC version to OS X.

Have you contacted Omni to ask? They are normally very responsive.
