Hey, I can't find the info ANYWHERE on Apple's web site. What is the earliest OS version that can read resources from the data fork? Is it Carbon in some version of OS 8 or 9 with CarbonLib, or only under 10.x?

thanks,
-Walter

I'm pretty sure it was introduced in Carbon. I don't know when, but I'd guess it's probably in 1.0.3.

I got the answer (thanks Eric Schlegel).

OS 9.1 with CarbonLib 1.3.1 or earlier;
OS 8.6 with CarbonLib 1.4.
