Has anyone used Forte from Sun? I tried the class file version installer and didn't get very far. I was wondering if it was useful before I worked very hard at getting it going.

I had used it when it was still called NetBeans and installed on OS9. It worked quite well for me; though somewhat slow. I've heard some reports on this forum saying that the text on buttons etc. of the interface are messed up on current OSX release. Haven't heard anything since this.

I'm having the same problem. When I run the installer class, all I get is a blank grey window. If I click the maximize button twice, then a graphic a appears and it says "extracting..." but then nothing else. If anyone has gotten it to work and could help. htat would be wonderful.
