Will there ever be a shorter/cheaper XServe?

I would very much like to use the XServe as my web/e-mail server at home but it won't fit in my APC Netshelter and the Cobalt Raq is much cheaper.

Anybody think Apple will release a shorter home version or not?

Probably not, I would say only if the Xserve sells really nice and there is demand for a smaller one, but why not just buy a tower?
