I'm tring to get netboot to work and did 'format-installs' of 10.2 server but after I built the OS X Boot CD and turned on the server it isn't working... Any tips tricks I'm missing? Also I noticed 10.2 Server didn't come with Netboot-Setup-Assistant... but then again the 600+ page PDF makes no mention of it anyway...

Oh I checked the system.log but nothing 'strange' shows up... Just a loop of messages between the server and the client (one requestion netboot) and the other passing back info but things never move to the next step.

Also these are both standard G4's on a 100T switched network and they both have 512+ MB of ram and both have been 'format installed' with 10.2 (one with client one with server and the pram had been zapped as well).

Well any ideas would be great...

Yeah, I've got 10.2 server up and running... haven't used NetBoot/NetInstall, though, and probably won't.

A word of caution: maybe this was the case in 10.1, too, but it stung me earlier: the OS installs sendmail, but not /usr/bin/m4, which is needed for configuring sendmail. You'll need to install the Developer Tools on your server for that.

Does Jaguar Server now support user/group quota??
Yup. It's in Workgroup Manager.
