Xserve with one drive: what's in the other 3 bays?

well, the topic says it all really.
do you get an empty sled, or is it just a blanking plate?
what hold the drives in the sleds? screws or clips?
anyone got any pics of their Xserves?
what's this cable arm that allows the cable to move out with the drawer?
how does the drawer clip into the case?
erm, ok… so the topic title didn't say it all! i'm curious, ok?

(that's curious 'how's that work?' not curious 'but won't that hurt if you put it there?' )
